Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle procedure in which therapeutic
(manual) pressure is applied to the reflexes of the feet or
hands causing a neural stimulus to be transmitted to the
corresponding organs in the body.
This stimulation, in turn, activates various processes
within the organs including:
- Detoxification
- Increased circulation of all fluids
- Relieved congestion and ultimate rebalancing of the
organs
In order to achieve this homeostasis within the body for
an extended period of time, regular Reflexology treatments
are essential.
Some of the overall benefits of having regular
Reflexology treatments include:
- Stress relief
- Allergy relief
- Reduction in back and neck tension
- Promotion of good sleeping habits
- Improved digestion
- Promotion of fertility
85% of our South African workforce are suffering from
stress and stress related illnesses. Many companies have
‘Stress Management’ programs for their staff, however, only
a few South African companies have actively addressed the
‘stress’ problem and included Reflexology in their staff
wellness centres/programs.
The companies that have addressed the “stress” issue and
offer Reflexology to their staff, as part of their stress
management programs include:
- ABSA
- AngloGoldAshanti
- DeBeers
- J.P.MorganChase
- SABreweries
- Barker Insurance Brokers (Barker Management
covers the cost for their staff to receive Reflexology
treatments at work!)
Join the trend - get your workforce working optimally
without their stress affecting your productivity levels.
Offer your staff Reflexology at work!
